You love helping others. Why can’t you help yourself?
You don’t have to struggle in silence.
You thought you had it all under control. You had solved your food problems for good and you were ready to help other people do the same.
And now, for some reason, you’re struggling again. You’re not sure why and it’s making you question everything. You might be thinking “who am I to be coaching on this topic when I don’t have it figured out myself?”
You feel like a fraud. You don’t want anyone to know, but you need help. Who do you turn to when you’re not comfortable raising your hand publicly for fear of being found out?
I’ve been there.
I thought I had solved my binge eating. I was on fire and ready to help others do the same.
And then, the binging returned. I was so ashamed. I was back in food prison with regular trips to the bakery and convenience store. My days were all about food. I was either helping clients with their own food issues or obsessed with mine. I felt worried that I couldn’t help them and was fearful that someone might find out.
All of the old patterns, thoughts, feelings and shame came right back as if they were never gone.
I want to let you in on a secret. This happens WAY more often than anyone knows. Because nobody is talking about it.
Until now.
This is why I created the Stop the Secret Struggle Food & Body Coaches Support Circle.
It’s the program I wish I had at the time. I’ve discovered that this struggle is really common. Coaches want help but they’re afraid of being found out. They don’t have anyone who gets it. They don’t know where to turn.
If you’re feeling this way, this is your safe space.
Why This Program is Unique:
I understand the shame and isolation of struggling with my own food issues in secret while helping others. I've felt the weight of keeping up appearances and the fear of seeking support.
I’ve coached hundreds of clients around food and body image issues of all types over the last 10 years. This has given me deep insights into the challenges both coaches and clients face. This combination of personal and professional experience provides the foundation for our Support Circle.
This is a safe space to be seen, heard, supported and understood.
You belong here. Will you let me be the support you’ve been looking for?

What Could Happen When You Don’t Have Support:
Asking for help isn't easy, especially when we're supposed to be the ones with all the answers. But here's the thing - without support, you might find yourself:
Stuck in that guilt-shame spiral about your own eating habits.
Struggling with your own body image issues, which may unconsciously influence your coaching approach.
Experiencing heightened anxiety or stress when working with clients who mirror your own challenges.
Feeling like a fraud when you're teaching concepts that you aren’t following yourself.
Potentially developing or exacerbating disordered eating patterns due to the pressure of being a "perfect" role model in the field.
Ready to stop the secret struggle?
Here’s What Happens When You Do Have Support:

Meet Your Guide - I’m Jane Pilger
I still vividly remember my first binge – the aftermath of a care package filled with fun-sized candy bars during my first semester in college. Surrounded by empty wrappers, I felt broken and ashamed. Little did I know that this moment would kickstart a 25+ year cycle of restricting and binging.
Over the decades that followed, I tried everything:
Multiple rounds of therapy
Intensive outpatient treatments
Countless restrictive diets
I desperately attempted to change my thoughts and seek control. But something was missing. What I didn't understand then was my body, its needs, and how to cultivate trust within myself.
The real breakthrough came when I started exploring:
The science of the brain and body
A trauma-informed approach
The power of self-compassion
Through this journey, I learned to create safety, trust, and connection within myself, reshaping my inner dialogue. This personal transformation now fuels my passion for guiding others—especially fellow coaches—through their own journeys of healing and self-discovery.
With over 25 years of personal experience and hundreds of clients coached, I bring a unique blend of empathy, understanding, and practical knowledge to our Support Circle. I'm here not just as a coach, but as someone who's walked this path and found a way through.
Are you ready to transform your relationship with food and your body, both for yourself and for your clients? Let's navigate this journey together.
