I’m in recovery mode.
After months of training and a race that pushed me to my edge - in the best and hardest ways - my body is asking for rest. And even though I planned for that, even though I believe in the importance of recovery… I still catch myself wanting to move on to the next thing.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Over the next three weeks on the Binge Eating Breakthrough podcast, I’ll be sharing a special series that weaves together the story of my recent marathon with the deeper lessons that apply far beyond running - into food, healing, self-trust, and the stories we tell ourselves when things take longer than we hoped.
Here’s what’s on tap:
Inside My Boston Qualifying Race – coming on Wednesday
Why Rest Feels So Hard – coming next week
Never Give Up – the week after
If you’re feeling tired or stuck - or like you should be further along than you are - I hope this series reminds you that you’re not broken. You’re just becoming.
More soon. For now… I’m resting.
