Thanks, Coach Jane, for this relatable post. I often have podcasts flowing in my ears as I putter around the house, garden, prep food, drive in the car, and get ready in the morning. I fill silent moments. Monk meals are something I avoid. If someone isn't eating with me, I usually listen to something from an app, podcast, or video replay.

Coach Heather shared a "Sitting in Quiet" resource with her private clients a few months ago that has been lingering on my curious-to-try list; but similar to my thoughts about a monk meal, I have avoided even practicing the suggestions. This Substack post of yours has inspired me to give quiet time a whirl this weekend.

I love challenges. I'm game to giving your 30 day challenge a go this summer. I'll follow up when I complete it.

The first step is always awareness! Awareness of our patterns and awareness to any resistance to changing them.

Seeing it as a challenge (rather than a threat or something scary) is a powerful way to get your nervous system in the state where you will be more likely to be able to stay connected with your intention.

Please do keep me posted and let me know what you discover!
