Love this and I think it hits on a super important but often overlooked issue in all walks of life. Disordered eating can be sneaky and insidious. But there's no room for it in health, no matter your season of life. Great work, ladies!
Such great descriptions of disordered eating: sneaky and insidious. Yes!! And so much of the advice out there can perpetuate it if we aren't careful. But you are right - disordered eating does NOT equal health. No matter how much we think we might be pursuing health. The truth is that it pulls us farther away from it.
No worries at all! I have NO problem for messy things to be seen. Allowing ourselves to make mistakes and be human is a superpower. In my disordered eating days this would have been a major issue - something that I would have had a lot of shame and frustration about. This was just something to get fixed and I SO appreciate you pointing it out - in any way!!
It was so fun spending time with you, Jane, and talking about my favorite topic (my family can confirm this!). Can't wait to listen to it. I'm at the menopause conference this week so hoping to listen on my travels home.

Love love love this conversation! Thank you ladies.
Just an editors note: around min 15 there is an overlap of the intro over Shelby talking.
Thank you so much for letting me know Jess! I've reached out to my podcast editor and asked them to fix it ASAP. Appreciate you pointing it out!
After I hit send I realized I could have direct messaged. Oops. I blame it on Day 28 brain fog. Lol

Jess, Thank you!! I'm at The Menopause Society convention and won't be able to listen to this until later. Great catch. It's much appreciated!
