Thank you Kelly! Any words of wisdom for me?

I keep thinking about the possibility that this book could be impactful to someone in a way that Loveable has been for me. Finding a soft place to land.

I'd love to bring the same energy to the process of writing it that I hope those that read it experience.

At the top of every first draft chapter I wrote, "SFD" and "Write small." The SFD stood for Anne Lamott's "shitty first draft." Let it be messy and uninspiring at first. Just get it down. And write small was about prioritizing my writing voice over the content. Ordinary. Tender. Down to earth. What words characterize your voice? Hope that helps a little!

This helps a lot! Ordinary, tender and down to earth absolutely encompasses your writing style! For me I would say calm, compassionate and understanding for me. SFD - great reminder! Off to start mine now...

I’ve benefited from the guidance in AJ Harper’s “Write a Must Read”. Good luck!
