There’s a thread that runs through everything I do: understanding and working with the nervous system.

My Story

I remember the aftermath of my first binge so clearly: sitting on the floor of my college dorm room, surrounded by empty candy wrappers from a care package I had just devoured. I couldn’t believe what I’d done.

I spent the next 25 years trying to stop binging, going through specialty providers, books, podcasts and two rounds of intensive outpatient therapy at a local eating disorder treatment center. I'd have some periods of "success" but would always end up binging again.

I was very successful on the outside, but I felt hopeless and out of control on the inside. I was married for years before I told my husband about what I did with food. I was so sure that he wouldn't love me anymore if he knew what I did in secret (that was not the case–he was instrumental in my recovery).

But I didn’t give up. Eventually, I discovered the missing pieces: safety and trust. Once I understood the role of the nervous system and finally made sense of my behavior, everything changed.

Turns out it was never about the food after all.

Today, I help others find those missing pieces too — so they can stop struggling and start living the life they’ve been longing for.

And here’s the best part: is no longer the primary struggle in life, people begin to wonder “what else is possible?”. That’s when the real fun begins.

What’s the thing you’ve always wanted but never thought you could have?
What if you could create enough safety to go after it?

That’s what we explore here at Powered by Possibility.

I live in New Mexico with my amazing husband and two adorable cats, Stormy and Shadow. We love triathlon training and racing, traveling, and soaking up any quality time together.

Stormy & Shadow doing what they do best…

I qualified for and raced at the 2022 and 2023 Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. I’ve also raced in world championship events in 5 different countries.

I strive to live a life of love, abundance, connection, growth, and trust. And I love donuts.
